Coral Bay
The Deal
Coral Bay is a small town located south of Cape Range National Park about 90 miles from Exmouth. One of the more bustling towns in the Ningaloo area, this place doesn’t have a stop light (and that’s how bustling it gets in these parts). Some dive shops, a bakery, and some of the most pristine real estate in the world.
Coral Bay boasts a very expansive beach of the softest sand your toes have ever graced. Beyond the sand shelf are deep coral gardens, much larger than any others I’d encountered in the area. There’s an information stand I suggest checking out on your way down to the beach. The volunteer inside gave me a map and some great tips on snorkeling in the area.

Pros: Parking early in the day. Beach showers and public restrooms. Huge beach with tons of room.
Cons: If it’s a busy day, you may not find parking. The current is very strong and requires a good swimmer. Very popular area. Coral is currently growing bak from algal bloom of 2022.
